Our apples

ECOLOGICALLY GROWN APPLES

The orchard is happy to offer you ecologically grew, 100% natural apples, free of any chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides. We wish to protect our harvests against any destructive insects or mushrooms, all while producing the purest possible fruit. With our respect of the earth and the wish to offer you fresh and healthy products, the team at Verger Labonté has revamped its agricultural techniques to remove the need for any pesticides and other harmful products. Our cultural philosophy is thus geared toward choices that are respectful of the environment and of human beings.

This is how we wish to offer our apples, cultivated by a benevolent culture !

TO MAKE A RESERVATION

In order to plan for the traffic and ensure that you have a place at your selected time slot, online reservations for activities are strongly recommend.

Access being limited, entries exceeding the maximum participant capacity may be refused. In the event of light rain, the activity is still offered. However, animation and the tractor ride may be cancelled (on weekends). In case of heavy rain or storms, the activity could be cancelled.

What to bring?

We take care of the bags!

You will receive your desired bag size (10 lb or 16 lb) to use on your apple picking.

It is not possible to bring other bags for picking.

A few helpful tips

  • The picnic area is open and it is possible to enjoy it! Our bistro is closed for the season but lunch boxes are available directly at our boutique.

  • In the event of rain, the activity is maintained.

  • It is mandatory to have one of the orchard’s bags to gain access to self-picking (at least one bag per family is required).

Forbidden in the orchard

  • Strollers are accepted in apple picking, but not in our labyrinths. Using a baby carrier is strongly recommended.

  • It is forbidden to smoke in the labyrinths and the orchard ground. A smoking space has been prepared in the parking lot.

  • Consumption of drugs and/or alcohol is not permitted.

  • Glass containers and bottles are not permitted in the labyrinths.

  • Pets aren’t allowed inside the labyrinths and orchard grounds. (except during the canine weekend which is planned for the last weekend of the season)
