Business Profile

Le verger Labonté

The Verger Labonté was founded in 1989 by Diane and Claude Labonté. At the time, some 2000 apple trees were planted, including ten varieties of apples and several pear trees. Each year, several varieties of pumpkins and squash are planted. Over the years, several house specialties were developed, including dried apples, apple jelly, apple butter, apple syrup, pies, apple crisp, and our legendary apple muffins, baked fresh daily on the premises.

In 2003, Nathalie Gervais purchased the Verger Labonté, and she is the present owner. The quality of the apples, the delicious muffins and the great service remained a priority. In 2005, the the idea of a maze in the corn field became a reality, and in 2006, a fund-raiser was associated with this fun activity. Now, it is a pleasure to create the mazes in conjunction with allowing the discovery of other cultures and condtribution to humanitarian causes!

The establishment is now well-known for apple picking for everyone on weekends and for groups during the week, for the delicious apple muffins and other home-made products, for the fun of the discoveries in the corn maze, and for the warm welcome from the wonderful and dynamic team members !

We look forward to helping you discover Le verger Labonté... if you haven't already done so!
